| The club’s goal, is to create understanding and cooperation between parents and relations, and to increase societies understanding of Otterupgaarden’s users.
The club participates in arranging various activities for the clients in the institute. The club chooses on the annual board meeting a council of 7 representatives. The council is widely represented by parents and relations, friends of “the house”, user representatives and institutions representatives. The club is runned economically mainly by funds gathered from members contributions and council contributions, and sales from prize lottery and the clubs tombola wagon, which is often seen in the town square during the summer. Of arrangements, the club completely or party is involved in are. Mini Camp , over 2 days in a community at “Å strand”, with participants of users, personnel, and club council members. There takes place lots of activites, competitions and shared cooking and not at least, friendly social gatherings. Germany Tour, A whole days tour to north Germany, where you can discover the old Danish province, go shopping and see the special attractions in southern Jylland. Summer trip to Klintebjerg, with activites in the green area. Fishing tour Christmas gathering, and general board meeting in December In addition the club is participating in Otterupgaarden’s yearly Mini Music Festival.The Parents and relation club at Otterupgaarden is a completly self suficient club, and exactly the construction with participation of users and personnel makes it into a ”strong” clubAs a new member of the club it is nice to meet such passionately involved people as we feel the personnel are. Without positive cooperation the work of the club would not be fulfilled 2012
